When the girl on last night's show was being so rude to her mother while they were in the car, I kept waiting for her mom to pull over, stop the car, and turn around and let her have it. There is no excuse for such disrespect, regardless of whether it is towards your peers or elders. Behavior like that is totally inexcusable in my book. My only solace is that she made herself look like an ass in front of millions of people.
