I kept it covered until right up until the end. I was actually REALLY scared to have them out in the open. Maybe you could cover it while you are at work, and uncover it when you are home??? Esme healed perfectly. Actually when they first took the stiches out, she had a noticible scar, but now 2 months later it's all gone.
