I do not start vaccines anymore.
I use to do them myself, as with the other animals BUT...
I soon was getting calls from upset new owners that their vets made them do it again. All states have different laws is my understanding....
And the vets said if they wernt done properly they wouldnt protect them anyways so....
Never mind the half doses for tiny pups they were getting DOUBLE!!!
So I stopped.

I tell them all about this and tell them you really need to take your new puppy to the vet ASAP to again get it checked over good, and start it shots....etc.
I always tell them up front. Alot of them called their vets first, and it was confirmed that the label on a card doesnt mean nothing to them.
None of my dogs have had worms. But I still worm ONCE around 10 weeks...
I've never had a puppy with worms. My dogs are all inside dogs.
I'm sure that has something to do with it...Or I am just pretty darn lucky
