I think that it is normal, IMO, that when a puppy is awake and playing for it to go piddle every 15 to 20 minutes. I even set a timer so I wouldn't forget. I usually paid for it if I ignored the 20 minute time schedule. I have a 9.5 mo. and I still have to make sure that he goes out more frequently than my older boy and girls, although it is not every 20 minutes, thank goodness.

How about putting an ex-pen close to you with a piddle pad, either disposable or cloth? That way he has room to play close to you but yet not free to piddle anywhere he pleases. Just a suggestion.
