I thought I would be okay, but I am so NOT. I just dropped my sweet Mango off at the vet to be spayed this morning. Now I am sitting here just besides myself. I know that this is a procedure that is done millions of times, but this is my baby, my treasure, my heart, that is being operated on and I just can't stand it.
The Vet said I could pick her up just before closing today. I would SO appreciate any pointers as to what I should do when she comes home to make her more comfortable. Do I keep the collar on her, or should I put her in a onesie?? She normally HATES clothes, but will she hate the collar more? If I don't put anything on her, I am afraid she will harm the incision.
The Vet does the surgery by laser, so I am hoping this lessens the trauma to her little body.
Argh!! I cannot stand this.Help!!!!!
