I was going to suggest the very same thing! A vet up the road from me rehomes animals all the time. You poor thing, it is obvious how much you treasure animals. Please don't feel guilty, you thought you were doing the right thing and got duped by an unscrupulous individual. I hope you are successful in retrieving that silky so that you have the chance of selecting the perfect new forever home. I was wondering about puppyfind.com - SO many folk go there looking for a pet. If you asked just a nominal fee for the dog, but made it a condition that you wanted to meet prospective parents. I think you could find a great home. Or, maybe one of our members here would know of another "safer" place than Craig's List.
