I, too am having similar problems. Penny attacked the brush violently when I tried to brush her. So I gave it to her and got a new one. Now she chews on the old one while I brush her. Bath time is actually ok. It is the dryer. She freaks out so much I am afraid she is going to have a heart attack. I don't want to leave her wet.
As for biting, we went thru that too. We just sternly said "no bite!" And she is learning. We are now woking on "sit" and "come". Because she is constantly running from me. When you get a treat she is jumping and hopping so much I started working on the "sit' command. Working with a puppy can work wonders. They can learn quick. It does take alot of patience.
