I'm of the same mindset about vaccinations causing harm to our dogs but good info is hard to come by. There is no consensus and it seems like every vet has different protocols. I administer my own vaccinations and start at 8 weeks and don't give the lepto. I'm also very concerned about flea and heartworm preventatives and am looking into safer alternatives. I have read that you can get elevated levels in a BAT due to recent vaccinations so there's another wrench in the works. It's confusing trying to figure out what is best for our babies but I'm convinced at this point that over-vaccinating and giving dogs poisons monthly (flea and heartworm preventatives) is not the way to go.
