Try mixing a little cottage cheese with his food (water the food a bit to make it soft) and put some water in a syringe to make him drink. I'm having to do that right now with my new puppy. Eating isn't a problem, but drinking is.
Also, as others have suggested, nutracal. I squirt a ribbon of it on top of her food and she licks it right up! If Max won't do that, let him lick it off your finger. (it's really sticky, so have a washcloth handy to wash his face afterward)

If the cottage cheese and kibble doesn't work, try some boiled chicken breast with brown rice.

I wish you much luck. He really does need to eat and drink ASAP!!!
