Hello and welcome to YT and congrats on your new baby. He is adorable.
I am no expert and you may get some better advice on here but have you considered sitting next to where you keep his food and try hand feeding him a little at a time? I had to do this until my baby was aclimated to where his food and water is. Also, you probably already know this but I have always heard that it is very important in the first few months to leave the food and water in one spot.
