Is Remy a puppy or an adult?
It seems an odd reaction for a puppy; more understandable is he is an adult. But either way, I agree with the advice of firm but gentle reassurance to Remy that BF and others are "okay" and the idea of them offering small yummy treats as a peace offering until Remy learns to accept them. I've seen this done on Animal Planet by the experts. He'll come around, I'm sure.
It might be a good idea to enroll him in an obediance class also, in case there is some underlying dominace issue.
