Yes, I'm sure he is just a little scared and unsure of his new home.
Perhaps if you got your bf or whoever to sit down, and then you took Remy in your arms and sat down beside him, all the while telling Remy what a nice guy bf is and how good Remy is and didn't Remy want to make friends...and get your bf to slowly pet him.
Do it with one person at a time, and if Remy barks, tell him NO and try again. Don't get up and walk away.. he will think he has won.
It may take some time, and there may be a need for a little bribery.. get your bf to have a treat ready. Yorkies will do just about anything for a treat
