 Chelsea has lost her appetite
As many of you know I had to put my 12 yr old dog down this week. My 1 yr old has been very depressed ever since. I really didn't think chelsea would be so affected by it since she really didn't get to spend so much with him. He was so weak that she would knock him over just by running past him. While i was at work, they would both be in my parents apartment upstairs. However, we would separate them as soon as she started bugging him.
I am a little concerned because Chelsea is very nervous, doesn't seem to have an appetite and is very reserved.
Do you think I should be concerned? I was thinking of getting a second dog way before rocky got sick but now I think I want to wait. This has been very hard on my family. My mom is devastated. She is retired and looks after them while I am at work.
I don't want Chelsea to be depressed but I feel that we need time to heal. How long did you wait before getting a second pup? |
