Hello Everyone Im new here. My female yorkie just turned 1 yr old.A few nights ago she got sick and threw up. The next day she acted really weak and looked like she had no life to her.She just satres off in space. She didnt want to eat or drink her water.She had a loose stool but no blood. Since she is me and my girlfriends pride of joy we imediatly took her to the vet. They did some test and blood work on her and the vet told us that she had a gastrill intestinal infection and she kept her on fluids all night the next morning we went in and got her and she acted like she felt a little bit better but when she got home she threw up again and didnt want any part of food. The vet told us to bring her back in for a few hours to recieve more fluids. We came back at five yesterday and got her and she slept all night really well but today she got sick and threw up again. When she goes outside she acts like she feels alot better. Im no vet but it doesnt seem like she is getting any better and she looks miserable all the time. Has anyone ever had this problem I didnt know if it took a little while for them to get over a gastrill infection or do you think I need to take her somewhere else. Does it sound like the vet knows what she is talking about? If not I will pay whatever to get my baby feeling better! I would appreciate your input SOOO Much becuase I am so worried something is majorly wrong that the vet is missing. Thanks
