The wishing well gift is an extra on top of the gift they are giving.
You can get a recipe box and have each person write a fav recipe on it for her... Tell the guest ahead of time so they know what recipe they want to bring.
Have some one close to her if they will write who gave what to her so she has a list of gifts and who gave it to her to write thank you cards.
