Its when everyone brings alittle something, like a spatula, wooden spoon, chip clips...........little kitchen items and gadgets. Small things but the things you really need!
Some people actually rent a fabric "wishing well" to hold all of these items but others will get a kitchen bucket or basket and put all the items in that!
Those items don't get wrapped!
I know I have also been to a shower where they did a recipe exchange instead of the wishing well. Every guest brought there favorite recipe and gave it in the card so the new bride would have some yummy meals to make! |
