My puppy sleeps under the covers as close to me as she can get. I started putting a shirt on her on our morning walks b/c she actually shivers! It's been cold (in California???) and overcast lately. She rides in a front pack (since I walk too far for her) and just sitting there, she gets cold. Yesterday I wished I had a sweatshirt for her! I wrapped my flannel shirt around her so she could peek out through the buttons and she felt better. Eventually she curled down in the bottom of the frontpack....so I know she was cold.
I have heard that their fur does not keep them as warm as other dogs? Is that true? seems to be from my experience.
