I hope this doesn't sound offensive but have you thought it through about breeding your male?

There is a little more to breeding than throwing 2 dogs together. Do you know what may happen and how to deal with it?

For example, do you know if your male carrying any recessive genetic defect. Do you know if the female that your dog is going to mate is carrying any recessive defect. The puppies produced can have an array of genetic & birth defective and for those has ever had a defective puppy know how heartbreaking it can be. Okay, I know the one that has the female will worry more about it than you do but since you want a puppy from this breeding you should think about it.

Do you know if the female is carrying any diseases that can pass to your dog through mating? Are you willing to take a chance exposing your male?

Did you know that male dog that have been bred are more likely to mark?

Do you know that stud dogs can become more aggressive.

There are hundreds of things to think about. Things may work out perfectly fine but what if they didn't. What will you do? Are you okay with it?

Anyway, it is something you may want to think about. This is just a word of advice.

Good luck!
