I would definitely suggest getting an ex-pen or something for him. If you can confine him, the chances of him successfully using the potty pad are much higher. Any time you see him sniffing, just put him in the playpen with a potty pad until he goes. After 20 minutes or so, if he doesn't go, let him back out but watch him VERY CAREFULLY. Any time he sniffs, pick him up and put him back in. Eventually, he'll get it. That's what we did with Franklin and now he jumps at his playpen when he needs to potty to be let in. |
