I agree, it sounds like you have it all covered. Yes, the minute you see that crate, pick that little baby up and give him a big kiss. I have flown quite a bit with my guys and have never had a problem having them out of their crates in the airport. As for potty, when I brought Darbee home, we went into the washroom and I put down a pp pad in there for him. After he finished, I gave him some water. I bet you cna't wait for the day. When is he coming?
