Yorkies don't always lose their teeth on their own. If you don't remove the milk teeth, it can cause permanent teeth to grow in improperly and become decayed because food gets trapped in the two rows of teeth. This can lead to serious infection. Most people have the teeth removed when their dog is neutered, usually around 6 months because this is usally done under antithesis.
