I am a Tivo lover too! One of the big issues for us, our cable provider only has like 10-12 HD channels and if we went with DirectTv we would have like 40+!
We are thinking since so much money was spent on the HD TV, it would be nice to have as many HD channels as possible. The upfront costs with the satellite are a big concern though!
We have two Tivo boxes right now too!
