I have been to Cape Cod ( including Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket ) and a trip touring the New England states. I have to say they were two of the most beautiful and enjoyable vacations I have ever taken! Having said that, they tend to be expensive trips! Lodging is expensive because it's mainly B&Bs or small Inns and food is pricey as well. They are also trips you want to take when you have a car and are doing alot of sightseeing to soak it all in! The history, beauty is just incredible in that part of the country!

I also LOVE Las Vegas, I was just there in October and will probably go again sometime this year. Vegas is not really what I would call a relaxing vacation, but most of the casinos have everything you could want on site. Restaurants, shows, spas, etc...
We stayed off the strip last time out near Red Rock canyon and it was less hectic and beautiful with mountain views! You might want a car if you stayed off strip, but most of the casinos have shuttles to take you to the strip. Vegas will be HOT in the summer for sure!
