My Cricket was just 3 pounds, and 5 months old...I was so scared, but she came through it like a champ!
She is my most playful dog, still very puppyish at mearly 5 years old!
I do not think you will regret it one bit.
It is natural to feel nervous and be afraid for them, but you are doing the right thing for her.
