I have always heard that if you breed a red leg to a soft or cottony coated you will get a beautiful silk coated puppy.
Your is sure a little doll though, whatever the coat.

I would never recommend breeding a red leg to anything BUT a pure silk for many generations, breeding to a soft or cotton would only yield a lessor quality coat...

JJ is pure silk for many generations...also be aware a redleg off spring does have the chance of reproducing a redleg...I would also never recommend infusing a redleg male into a breeding program because of this.
