First I would like to commend you for your rescueing Trixie.. What a sad sad life up until then.. Perhaps she will never jump up on those things. 4 years is a long long time to be stuck in a cage. When we got Shiloh he was a year old.. He spent his first year in a cage as well. He didnt know how to play, he didnt jump very well and even looked very awkward when he ran. It took about 2 months for him to start really acting like he was a house pet. Now he doesnt stop. He is always on the go.. He still looks a bit awkward when he is running.. Like he still can not comprehend that his little feet can move that fast.. So he runs in place like a cartoon for a bit..
