I think it's probably a good thing she isn't jumping. By not jumping, it is saving on wear and tear on her little joints. Yorkies are prone to leg problems and as much as I get a kick out of seeing Maddie jumping around, I always think that it is hard on her legs and just hope and pray she isn't causing too much stress on her legs.
Since you rescued her from a puppy mill, she maybe never had a chance to jump and just doesn't know how. Thank goodness she's in a loving home now and I would bet she will start jumping eventually, but if she never does, at least you can know she'll keep her legs strong and healthy! |
