I dont think that that "breeder" would be the best mentor you could have found. I would keep looking. How could she/he seriously mentor you when she has soooo many breeds? Does she know the ins and outs of every breed and all the genetic/health problems? Sounds like she hires the work done for her. She didnt even "see her babies" that day!!???
What does that tell you about her breeding ethics and responsibilities?
