 Following Around All Time!
Is this common among yorkies? I have friends that have other breeds of dogs and their dogs to not follow them everywhere. If I get up she gets up if I go to the bathroom she is right behind me. If I take a shower she just lays quietly outside the shower curtain until I get out. Sometimes when I go to the bathroom I close the door she never cries or barks but when I open it again there she is sitting there just a nice. I feel like I have a tail. She also does not do this to my husband. She is 9 months old and I thought by now she will be doing her own thing. But she has to also sleep right next to me on the couch and everything. The only time she is not next to me is at night when she goes to bed. Her bed is in the bedroom but on the other side of the room but sometimes I'll wake up and she will be on the floor on my side of the bed near my head. If I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night she wakes up and is right behind me. Is this normal? Do they ever grow out of this? |
