Wow Mary.........we could be clones; I feel the exact same way that you do about this most awesome Yorkie breed and about my babies. For the longest time yorkies were a dream of mine, then finally one day 4 years ago or so, my dream finally came true. And I was hooked from the get go. My dream quickly became my passion and I almost immediately knew I would breed someday. So I did what you are doing now....read anything and everything I could get my hands on about yorkies in general, about breeding, whelping, and caring for newborn puppies. And then I read some more and re-read everything many times. I've attended some dog shows, met a few breeders, and am still soaking in as much information as I can find. We had our first litter last year and I can tell you that when the time comes for you.....you are in for the time of your life.

It was such a wonderful experiance to help bring those babies into this world, to care for them and watch them change & grow in those first months of their little lives, and then to see the joy in the faces of the grateful families that you chose for their forever homes. I still keep in touch with the people who've adopted my first litter and hope to continue so for a long time to come.
