As I said before the residue left behind is ordinary table salt. In fact you can turn salt into chlorine. I think some of you who are having problems with it need to realize you need to mix chlorine in water first. It's highly concentrated, and you don't just pour it out of the bottle and use it straight like so many other cleaners.
