I know several well known handlers and they usually just try to avoid all the drama that some people tend to get going if you hang around ringside enough you will see it/hear it etc.
I can understand their need to keep themselves away from it all.
And they do need to get back to the dogs that they are being paid to show and also care for. (usually they do have their groomers and assistants with them also)
