Wrigley whines for a couple seconds and then stops and then starts again. She doesn't bark or yap hardly at all, but she does the crying/whine thing for attention and when she wants something. It does increase in frequency if we aren't moving fast enough for her liking!
It's actually a cute noise that she makes and we usually laugh, but if she was waking us up early in the morning, that wouldn't be so cute!
i agree it is cute.. and it makes me want to smother him.. and when i say NO CHIPPY!! NO WHINING!! he just looks at me.. and then starts to whine again..

yeah but in the morning.. it's so loud and high pitched.. it makes it really hard to sleep.
