Yorkshire Terriers are thought to have originated in Scotland, and taken to Yorkshire by weavers. They were used to keep babies safe, one at the top of a cot, another at the bottom.
These little babies are know as "Ratters", and are working dogs. They are also used to catch rabbits.
I did a little research, before choosing our little furbaby.
