EXACTLY! Had I been there, seen this - my adrenaline would have given me the power of an army - and there would not have been a soul who could have stopped me from breaking in there and cutting that poor creature free, even if it was just to turn around and bring it to a vet to put him to sleep (if it's health was to late to save, that is). NO ONE could have stopped me.
I too cannot wrap my mind around how NO ONE stepped in and stopped this "live" cruelty.
And, while someone may argue
"well, but *that* was the *art* of it" - that "no one" steps in
all the time, all around us. IF anyone wants to say that, I'll answer right now: I'll step in anytime, anywhere - show me, I'll do it; I don't need "starving animal art" to show me the way, nor do I think most humans with a brain do either.
