It is so wierd. It is really her front armpits and I would say the last 2 months she has been going at her ears. She has a lot of wax that must come out of her ears and builds up on her ears, when she is being bathed I use a flea comb to try and get the 'crusty' off her ears (entire ear, front and back).

After she gets dried I have to apply Skin Works from Coat Handler, it is the only thing that 'helps' somewhat. By the time 3 weeks rolls around her problem areas seem to look better, but then it's bath time and it starts all over again. Believe me, we are at a better point.

As far as the water. I bathed her in AZ too and it also happened there.

Crusty ears sometimes means mites and that would go with the armpits. I think they can get worse (itching) after warm water touches the skin. I would definately have them do a skin scraping. What flea med (if any) do you use?
