I am appalled that people would call and feign wanting to buy a puppy and then badmouth me over the phone. all my girls and studs are AKC registered and live in a good home. They are not just "puppy milled" - they are members of the family. They do not live in a 2' by 3' crate 24 hours a day. They have the run of a 2000 sq. ft. home and an 8000 sq ft yard. I hope other hobby breeders do not have to deal with the unkindness of others who think we are in it for the money. With all the money I've spent on my babies, I'll barely break even - I'm totally non-profit. I just wanted my girls to experience being a mommy.
Please give me some advice on how to deal with these people.

Listen, I got my puppy from a hobby breeder and I saw the mom and dad and she was wonderful to them. They were in great shape and in the house. I received a wonderful, well adjusted, self-assured,healthy and happy puppy. If I decide to buy another puppy I am sure I will call her first. I am sorry you are getting harassing phone calls. People can be so mean. Hang in there.
