I am sorry that people are calling you too. Horrendous! Being the daughter of a "yorkie breeder" I've gained a little experience and knowledge over the past 16 years. There are people on here that will say mean things about you, in fact, they did about my mom's kennel. They've never met her, never talked to her, have never seen the beautiful kennel that my mom has built.
This reminds me of a funny (but at the time terribly awful) story that happened to my mom a few years ago. This lady called up and was inquiring about a female puppy - my mom told her what she had available, the price was right, blah blah. She came out to visit and 'decided' she wanted the puppy. Well, she said that she was going to go to her car and get the money. My mom was like, okay, no problem. Well, it took her forever and when my mom walked outside to see what was up, she was snapping pictures of my mom's house and property! My mom asked what she was doing and she said that she was a volunteer for the aspca or something like that and was going to report her. She asked for what, she said that "
you're a dog breeder, and all dog breeders are puppy mills"
*What an ignorant thing to say to begin with.*
That ticked her off, my mother is not a violent person and I have never seen her do anything at all --- but she ripped that camera out of her hands, said some choice words and told her to get off our property or she was calling the cops. She ended up having the call the cops because the lady wouldn't leave.
THERE ARE NUTS! So just be careful. She had no basis for what she was doing. Our property is clean, as is the kennel, our house and our dogs. She is just a nut who thought she knew what she was doing, but of course she didn't.
By the way, it turns out that this person is the wife of my husband's stomach doctor!
