Villette, I am so glad you are all okay! What a scary experience! You can get pepper spray is at Walgreens and also Wal-Mart. Do they actually sell mace anywhere? I imagine it would be more effective than the pepper spray, but I have never seen it in the stores. You can get those curly plastic (like a small phone cord) bracelet thingys at Walmart in the jewelry section. That would be good to put the mace/pepper spray on. I finally bought some myself after reading some of the stories on here.
