You have up until 6 months of age before getting ears to stand is unlikely.

Some people tape a puppys' ears to help getting them to stand, but I agree that keeping the hair trimmed/shaved on the upper 1/3 is VERY important so that the hair does not lay heavy on them making it harder for them to stay up. They will also possibly flop some during teething even if they have already been standing upright.
