My Vet (who is my breeders vet so knows Yorkies very well) has said my Baby is ready to neuter now and he is 4 months old. As long as the testicles have dropped and he is healthy he said he is ready. If Ozzy was smaller than he is (he's 3lbs .1oz) I would wait until he was bigger but he is so sturdy and healthy. I have him scheduled in 4 weeks so he will be 5 months old and hopefully around the 3 1/2 lb mark. Again my vet has extensive experience with yorkies and particularly Ozzy's line...but I'll still need a sedative that day!!!
