If he's an adult, he does NOT need 4 rounds of vaccinations. One vaccine should be sufficient for an adult dog - 2 if you just really want to be overly cautious. I would only vaccinate for Parvo, Distemper, and Rabies. You might want to vaccinate for Bordetella depending on where you plan to take him. The only reasons puppies get 3-4 rounds of vaccinations is because they are started early when maternal antibodies are still present. An adult dog does not need to go through several rounds of vaccinations.
