There will always be labels until everyone breeds for the right reasons and the right way. There is a right and wrong way to breed. Most breeders just are not reputable and that's a fact. However, there are some wonderful ones out there too...they are just harder to find. I just cannot and will not ever support those breeding for the wrong reasons or the wrong way. Too many dogs are dieing in shelters, too many dogs are neglected and abused, too many dogs suffering because the breeder didn't screen their dogs...we have to always keep the best interest of the dogs at heart...however, most breeders are selfish and breed for selfish reasons..not for the love of the dogs and breed. I never said "breeder categories" were black and white issues...I said health screening was a black and white issue to me. Anyway, I just wish more people thought about the dogs before they bred or supported a breeder doing things the wrong way. These are living, breathing LIVES...not a product, not a toy, not an experiment, and certainly not a business. If someone can't breed with the best interest of the dogs in mind, they do not need to be breeding at all.

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
