Hey hun! I go through the same thing and I'm not even married!
We just live together and I totally know what you are talking about. I cook, clean, do laundry and never really ask for his help but when I do it's like asking him to find a cure for cancer or something. I'll ask him to take out the garbage and he'll throw a fit and we'll have a big fight and then he'll take the garbage out and promise never to act that way again. But guess what...it happens again the next week.
Don't really have any advice...just wanted to offer you some moral support.
