Keep a watch on the loose stools. If they continue have your vet do a complete blood panel work up. If the amylase and lipase values are high then that is definitely a sign of pancreatitis or it can lead to pancreatitis -dogs that go into full blown pancreatitis have to be hospitalized for a few days and be on iv's. they recover but you have to be careful with the dogs diet. Low fat, high fiber. The wellness wgt mgt actually has 8 % fiber. this was the highest I could find. Our vet specialist wanted to put my girls on Hills Pres w/d. It has 6 % fat and 20 % fiber. I am not fond of the pres diets so I have my girls on the Wellness Wgt Mgt food. They get a nickle size dollap of canned wellness (venison/sweet potato) pretty much to give them their meds only. Too much of the canned raised the amylase and lipase values and caused loose stool. No table scraps of any kind is best.

My girls have improved and their stool is not loose. It was never diarrarhea- just mushy. It was hard to pick it up with the shovel :-)

Wellness is a great food especially for dogs with pancrease symptoms or loose stool. they make great treats wellbar and wellbites that are great too. My dogs love them so much I'm really suprised that I am not missing any fingers :-)

Good luck!
