Besides all the other suggestions, I would suggest to get a lot of jars with a cut out in the top for people to put money in. Put a picture of the baby on the jar with an exclamation of him needing surgery. Then take the jars to gas stations, convenience stores, grocery stores, and where ever there is a lot of people coming and going. That really adds up.
In Lori's defense, I have to say that she wasn't trying to be mean. Right now she is going through the waiting game of finding out about her Grandma's cancer. I know exactly what that's like and it's very hard to concentrate on other things with something like that on the mind. She's a sweetheart and also needs our support right now!
