Luckily, my vet is open to discussion. I don't give Corona or Bordertella....the research doesn't support the risks and it is becoming apparent that you can over vaccinate and we have cut back our shots to 3 yrs instead of one.
My vet gave me a hard time about home cooking....but not because he was being difficult...when questioned...he admits that very little attention is given to the topic in vet school. He was concerned about it being nutritionally balanced (you could make cardboard nutrtionally balanced if you add enough to it) so I had him do bloodwork and ever since then, he does not fight me on it.
