There are a ton of bigger carriers. I had a hard time finding one at first too (Loki ended up at 12 pounds... and he still FITS in his carrier but he's too heavy to carry for long.) Sammy is 6 lbs and she has plenty of extra room in my Vera Bradley carrier. I put Loki in it once but it was a tight fit. We have a New York Dog one that is like 16" long that Loki still fits into if necessary. A lot of the carriers come in more than one size too! |
