Checking to see if anyone has any advice. My little girl, MacKenzie, is about 5 months old and has been sleeping in a carrier next to my bed since we got her 2 months ago. She is fully potty trained using her doggy door (thanks to her fur mommy). The problem is she always has to get up at 3:00am on the button to go to the bathroom. I would like to transition her to a dog bed so she can let herself out to go to the bathroom. Her outside area is safe and secure and I can set up a baby gate at night so she can't roam the house. I guess I am not sure how to teach her that this is her bed and where she should sleep. I think at this point she will be just trying to get up into my bed all night. Any suggestions?
