Well, that is a long day flying, but you do have layovers so you can stretch your legs and wash your face if you need to freshen up while you're waiting.
I usually carry a book with me to read during those boring times. You can always ask for a pillow too and take a little nap. It won't be so bad. Just think of it as an adventure!
